2007 FINCA Jordan is founded
FINCA Jordan is officially launched. The microfinance institution is honored by Her Royal Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah during a visit to FINCA Jordan’s Zeziya market office in 2007.

2008 FINCA Jordan expands
FINCA Jordan opens two new branches in Amman district, in the Al-Hussien and Hitten districts.

2011 FINCA Jordan moves Zarqa branch to a new location
FINCA Jordan moves its Zarqa branch to a new location to be closer to clients.

2012 FINCA Jordan opens North Shonah market office
FINCA Jordan expands to the northern part of the country for the first time by opening its North Shonah branch. It can now serve more clients in different areas of the country.

2014 FINCA Jordan launches two branches
FINCA Jordan launches two new branches in Irbid and Madaba districts.

2015 New Head Office Opens
FINCA Jordan launches a new head office in Khalda district.

2017 North Shounah Branch Opens
FINCA Jordan opens a new branch in North Shounah.

2017 Al Bayader Office Opens
FINCA Jordan opens a new sub-branch at Bayader Wadi Al Seir Area, a sub-branch of the Al-Hussein Branch.

2017 FINCA Jordan Receives Central Bank License
On December 20, 2017, FINCA Jordan receives a microfinance license from the Central Bank of Jordan. It becomes the first microfinance institution to be fully licensed and regulated by the Central Bank under licensing requirements introduced in April 2016. FINCA Jordan begins using the name FINCA Microfinance Jordan while providing responsible loans and financial services to customers throughout the country.

2018 Bani Kenanah Office Opening
FINCA Microfinance Jordan opens a new sub-branch at Bani Kenanah Area that is a sub-branch of Irbid in February 2018.

2018 AlSalt Office Opening
Opening a new sub-branch at AlSalt Area that is a sub-branch of Deir Alla in September 2018

2018 Marka Office Opening
FINCA Microfinance Jordan opens a new sub-branch at Marka Area that is a sub-branch of Hitteen in October 2018.

2018 AlRussaifeh Office Opening
Opening a new sub-branch at AlRussaifeh Area that is a sub-branch of Zarqa’a in December 2018.

2023 Al Aqaba Branch Opening
FINCA Microfinance Jordan opens a new branch in Al Aqaba city in 04/06/2023

2023 Al Mafraq Branch Opening
Under the patronage of the Chairperson for the Board of Directors of FINCA Microfinance, Al Mafraq branch was launched on July, 25th of 2023.
